About Self Service
Overview
Self Service allows End-users to interact with OpCon without having to engage their IT department
- A Web Browser is the only software requirement
- Self Service allows End-users to submit Requests without any knowledge of Opcon
- Security based on Opcon Roles
- The User only sees the requests associated with their Role
All information is stored within the OpCon Database
- Provides Native Use of Events (All Events are eligible for use in Self Service)
- Each Request can send multiple Events
- Variables can be utilized in the Request Definition
- Variables can be User Inputs
- Validation rules can be associated with variables
